go for the longest line

Since I have a lot of time during the day, I wake up considering where I should go for the day. It does not necessarily need to be a huge trip. But, I do try to go somewhere--even if it is for a couple hours. Usually it involves shopping. My excuse is that we "need" some things for the apartment.

One day, I decided to hop on a bus and go to Birkenhead Point, a mall that looks much better on the web than in real life. I was a bit disappointed with the shopping. So, I decided to take a break and find some lunch. The food court was a bit depressing. You could sit outside, right by the water. However, it honestly wasn't that great of a view--and was in the hot sun with no shade.

I decided to pick the place with the longest line, thinking that people wouldn't be lining up if it wasn't good.

Admittedly, you are not guaranteed good food if you go with the longest line--since McDonald's often has the longest line. But, this place seemed promising. Especially because they were making the gozleme to order.

As a side note, I have seen lots of Turkish places in Sydney. Turkey seems very far away from Sydney--but despite that, there appears to be a big Turkish population here. Either that or every Turkish person in Sydney has a restaurant.

I ordered a spinach and potatoes gozleme. It was delicious. Especially with a squeeze of lemon. I might have to go back to this  mall, even if the shopping wasn't that great. Because the gozleme was delicious.

A flaky, thin, crisp crust encasing potatoes, spinach and cheese. I could have eaten two orders.
