monorail

A couple weeks ago, we decided to take a trip on the monorail. Our apartment is very close to a monorail stop--so we thought it was about time to check it out.

Similar to the monorail in Seattle, the one in Sydney doesn't go to that many places. It makes a big loop, and you can stay on for as long as you like. We rode the entire loop--and attempted to take some pictures of the view. It goes through the southern portion of the CBD.

It was a rather uneventful little monorail. But it was surprisingly very crowded. We were lucky to get a seat. Maybe the tourists like the monorail because it makes them think of Disneyland. Or maybe they just wanted to be in an air-conditioned space.
