Finally the day came when the Admiral joined us at the HMS Mutterino. Needless to say, the crew was excited about her arrival. To keep the department expenses low she traveled on a red eye flight and arrived on life support.
She had to revive quickly because the next day we boarded another air craft to travel to the HMS Chelito, a renowned vessel from a more civilized times. It was once the crown jewel of her majesty's fleet. Before the dark times. Before the empire.
The previous year we had been ambassadors to the HMS Chelito and stationed there for 6 months. Petty Officer First Class Big-Kaiju had fond memories of her time there and quickly warmed up to our old quarters. Possibly the best thing of the HMS Chelito is the permanent presence of a trampoline in the recreational area. It saw much use.
Christmas is a BIG event in HMS Chelito. There was piƱata, games, carols, peregrination, tamales and even a pastorela where we participated. All in all, a much needed break for all the crew.
