Once again, we have boxes everywhere in our house. I wonder if there will ever be a 10-year stretch in my life when I will not move somewhere. Granted, we're only going to Mexico for 6 months. A temporary move. But we are still packing up a bunch of things in our house, so that our house sitter can feel more comfortable--and not be surrounded by all of our crap (mostly mine).
I can't believe that we're actually leaving on Thursday. It feels like we had been waiting forever to hear back from the US immigration service. And then suddenly, last week Tuesday, it was go-go-GO. And miraculously (and with some Mexican luck), everything worked out. Fede is officially a US citizen and we are going to Mexico.
We'll write more from Mexico later. Now, I need to sleep. And tomorrow, more packing!
