Captain's Log: Stardate 10192016

Today we received envoys from the USS Lil' Formosa. I am talking about battle scarred veterans of many wars who personally trained our Fleet Admiral. She was their crew member from enlistment to graduation from the academy.

I was on my best behavior and using my formal uniform all day. The captain of the Lil' Formosa insisted on cooking so I made sure that as soon as a dirty plate hit the sink I was there to scrub and scrub and scrub the hell out of it so that she would always have clean dishes at her disposal.

There is a cordial, yet distant, relationship between me and the ambassadors which came into the spotlight on two occasions where I had lunch alone with them. Timid looks. 'Yes, sir'. Furtive smiles. 'This heavenly food is delicious mam'.

Petty Officer Second Class had a very good time with the visitors and specially enjoys playing with the Executive Officer of the Lil' Formosa. On one occasion he taught Big Kaiju to cook dumplings. Seaman Little Kaiju on the other hand took a lot of time to warm up.

End of Line
