Some quick updates:
1. I am currently 7 months pregnant, and definitely starting to feel like I am carrying a watermelon strapped to my belly. It is uncomfortable and my ability to move has definitely slowed. I am at that point where I wouldn't mind having the baby right now--but I'm also not quite prepared to take care of two little ones at the same time. I have 8 more weeks to go.
2. Elie is potty trained! Well, at least she hasn't been wearing diapers for two weeks. There have been a few accidents, but nothing too horrible. I am impressed by her bladder capacity--especially since I'm pregnant and need to go potty every 20 minutes or so. Everyone has warned me that when the new baby comes, Elie might regress and start having more accidents. Let's hope everyone is wrong.
3. Elie had eye surgery in May. This was to correct her strabismus (i.e. her eyes cross). I was so nervous at the hospital--but thankfully my dad was with me. Both my parents came to help us out after the surgery--which was the best distraction for Elie. I don't think she even realized she had surgery--except that she now knows the word "hospital."
4. Since many people have been asking me, I thought I would mention that we have no names picked out for Mei-Mei (aka "little sister"). I have left this task up to Fede. He is currently avoiding his task.
5. Fede and I have been playing a lot of Hearthstone. Many years ago, I attempted to play Magic with Fede--but I found it too complicated. Or maybe I was just too lazy and uninterested to make the effort to fully understand and play Magic. Regardless, Hearthstone is similar to Magic but MUCH easier. I think Fede wanted me to start playing Hearthstone so that I would play with him--but he always beats me. Plus, in order to earn "gold" which allows you to buy new cards, we have to play against random people. So, we end up playing at the same time, but not against each other. This is probably better for marital harmony.
