week 30

I haven't been very good about photo-documenting my growing belly. But, here are some pictures from yesterday. The first is after brekkie at our favorite place in Pyramma Park. The woman there is so friendly--and she is the first "random" person to rub my belly.

This next picture is me, waiting for the bus, to go to the opera. Either my belly shrank 5 hours after eating breakfast, or it just looks smaller if I angle myself towards the camera differently. Who knows?

Both pictures show that I really need a haircut.

Random bambino updates:

1. As of today, I'm 30 weeks pregnant, which means 10 more weeks to go.

2. Latest random side effect, I have mild carpel tunnel. Apparently, it's very common in pregnant women. My only symptom is that sometimes I wake up at night because my hands have gone numb. But during the day, I'm fine.

3. I can still touch my toes. Yay!

4. I never thought I would go to one of those non-medical ultrasound places, where they take those 3D pictures of the baby. (I'm totally cool with other people doing it--I just think the pictures are creepy looking.) But, Fede and I really want to know the sex of bambino--so we are thinking of going to a place where they take the 3D pictures, and a 5 minute video. I'm tempted to tell them that we don't need the video or the pictures--we just want them to aim the ultrasound in between bambino's legs and tell us what the sex is. But we'll see. I haven't made an appointment yet.

5. We still have no names for bambino. That's the main reasons for going to the ultrasound place--so we only have to find one name for bambino. But even if we had names, we aren't telling. ;)
