brief update

1. I'm about to finish my first quarter at Sydney Business School. I am only allowed to take up to two classes each quarter. Statistics could have been a lot better. Marketing Management is fluff. Exams are next week. Then I have a one week break.
   
2. Fede will have to give his own update about his job--but I'll just say that he often comes home to take a siesta at lunch.
   
3. We both have been playing Fable III. Yes, I have been sucked into playing video games. This one is really fun. Although, we think the game developers tricked us. If you haven't played it and are going to--talk with us first.
   
4. The weather is slowly starting to change--although temperamentally so. When we first got here, it was incredibly hot and humid, with periodic downpours. Now, it will sometimes rain for days. But then, today was sunny, hot and humid again. I can't wait for fall. I'm tired of being sweaty when I go outside.
   
5. We are slowly (painfully) trying to meet people and make friends here. But, it's tough. Thankfully, we haven't gotten sick of each other's company.
   
6. I've gotten pretty good at making corn tortillas (very easy). I still haven't mastered cooking what you put in the tortillas. Still working on that. In the meantime, I am attempting to make bacon. We'll see how that experiment goes.
