103

The movers came and took away our things. I have never had professional movers pack my stuff before. I think I prefer to do the packing myself--it's sort of like a 3-D puzzle, trying to cram as much stuff as possible into a box. But I suppose there are benefits to having movers come. They take one day--and everything is packed and gone. I think it would take me 2 weeks to do the same thing.

We'll see our stuff (hopefully) in Sydney (hopefully intact). We had 103 boxes/items. I cannot figure out if that is a lot of stuff or not. I felt like we got rid of so much stuff. But somehow, there was still a lot left to transport. Hopefully we'll be better the next time we move--and we'll have even less stuff to move.

The house still, somehow, doesn't quite look empty. Odd how the house can still be messy even after you've moved almost everything out of it.

Oh man, it's so real when it's all packed. Although I like to think I have a talent for packing and moving (Catherine and I used to joke that it was my superhero ability), I HATE doing it. Some day I've love to have the movers that pack you. ANYWAY, I hope everything arrives safely and you settle in quickly.

Thanks Victoria! We're currently looking for an apartment. Who knows what we'll find. But, I'm pretty insistent on having 2 bedrooms so that we can have guests!
